Major Supreme Court Ruling Changes U.S. Elections
A major Supreme Court decision will change the way campaigns for Congress and the President are run.
Supporters of the decision have called it a victory for free speech. Opponents say that it will allow corporations and unions to drown out the voices of average Americans.

I believe that this was a very poor decision by the court. By making this decision to cut the limit for the elections is going to drasticaly change how elections are run. This is going to sway the elections because either canidate can spend as much as they are given for advertising. They can now basically have as much time as they can buy to advertise themself's as they can buy. This is going to cause the money factor to be re-entered into the elections and its going to cause a bias opinion.

ReplyDeletethis is a very sad moment in the area. i want to go in the army and this just hurts me because i could end up like this man. i couldnt put my family through that.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a horrible decision made by the Supreme Court. The winners of the next elections coming up will the the ones who have the most money and can buy the most ads. I understand the right to free speech is a issue but I dont think it is a big enough one to completely take away the limits.
