Ten Simple Google Search Tips



Almost everyonoe uses google for at least some of our internet searches.  However, many people are not aware of some simple ways to make using the popular search engine easier and more productive. 

Read this article and answer one or more of the following questions in the comment section:

How many of these simple tips do you already knwo about?  How many do you use?

    i have used a few of these.
    like the spelling aid and the area code lookup.

    i never knew you could use google as a calculator.

    i knew 4 of the 10 tips you can do. i use the zip code one alot and the calculator and the spelling aid.

    From this artical i already know about six of them but all of the rest i didnt know about.Out of the 10 i only use six of them. All the rest i never ever tried to use them.I didnt really learn anything new but one thing. I learned that google is a calculator.

    1. i already knew about all of the tips but the operator one and the area code one? I dont think i wil use the other two because i already know my area code and the operator one i dont get. i Think the oter 8 tips are helpful tho.

    i think googl is a good way to find out stuff that you need to know it is fast and reliable. i use it all the time to find reseh for essays iam writeing.

    1. didn't make sense to me.
    2. i use this one all the time, it is easier than dictionary.com, well only if you know the defination.
    3. i used this one before, very few times but its a lot easier to find the functions.
    4. i doubt anyone uses this. it sounds kinda stupid.
    5. i never used this, but it sounds really helpful like in math. i might start using it now.
    6. the or sounds stupid, and could lead to stupid useless links.
    7. i never knew you could do that, i thought you had to go to advanced search.
    8. not usefull to me, i think it is another stupid one.
    9. that sounds like another one, its kinda just pure obvious.
    10. i think yellowpages.com would be more accurate.

    I use 5 of the tips for google and the other 5 I had no idea google did

In order to make your comment, first choose the Name/URL option. Then type your FIRST and LAST name in the Name box. Ignore the URL box. Click the CONTINUE button. Type your comment in the box and click the SUBMIT button.
